Why would I have hot water upstairs but not downstairs?
Try turning off the hot and cold supply valves at each fixture in the house and see if you get hot water down to the lower floors. It sounds like you are getting cross feeding at some faucet or valve in the house. Start at the top floor and turn on the hot water at a fixture on the 1st and 2nd floor.
Is there any hot water in the upstairs bathroom?
Hot water downstairs is fine as is central heating (downstairs and upstairs). However, we don’t seem to be getting any decent hot water upstairs. Hot water tap in bathroom is ‘warm’ at best. Showers are warm for a bit and then end up luke warm or cold.
Why is there no hot water in my upstairs boiler?
The boiler does not know where its hot water is going. Either the flow rate is higher or there is a cold water crossover occuring upstairs because a mixer or joystick control has been fitted without a non return valve. Why is there no hot water in my shower?
Showers are warm for a bit and then end up luke warm or cold. Baths are also luke warm or cold – despite waiting for 5mins for hot water to arrive out of the tap. British Gas have already replaced the heat sensor in the boiler but this has not helped. Does anyone have any thoughts on what the problem might be?

How can I adjust the water pressure in an upstairs bathroom?
You should be able to adjust it with a flat-head screwdriver. If your house is old, you may have corroded water pipes, and they are especially likely to affect the water pressure in an upstairs bathroom.
