Why is there a noise when I turn on the hot water?

I have just started having problems with my hot water flow. When i turn the tap on to run a bath it starts off running at normal speed but after about 2 minutes the flow reduces to just above a trickle and if i try to run another hot tap at this point i dont get any water out the other hot tap.
