Why is my Rheem Water Burner not working?
The part is called the “water body” and is a known issue which prevents water flow detection and stops the burner igniting to heat the water. If you check your operating manual you will see that when hot water tap is running there should be a green LED indicator displaying but if not most likely needs water body part replaced.

Just had Rheem Tech come out and literally fixed my Pronto 12 in under 20 minutes. It was fully tested and found out that the issue was a “known issue” with this model and the part is called the “water body” which stopped detecting water flow so then it couldn’t tell the burner to heat the water coming in.

Water pressure and water are perfect without any issue on water flow. The hot water suddenly changes to cold water and back to hot again.
