Why does the wind keep blowing out my pilot light?
The most common issue that causes your pilot light to go out continually relates to your thermocouple. Otherwise known as the flame sensor, the thermocouple automatically shuts off the gas if the pilot light goes out. When the thermocouple is dirty, broken, or misaligned, it can’t see your flame.
How do I stop the wind from blowing out my pilot light?
The best cure is electronic ignition. However, electronic ignition is not feasible nor cost-effective for most standing pilot furnaces. The next best solution is to check the crown assembly. The next cure you can try is to raise the crown assembly up using an exterior extension (right picture).
What to do if your Honda Pilot is not blowing air?
Turn off the rear blower (the Pilot has two blowers) and then double check if the front blower is running. If the front blower is not running: 1) Check/replace any applicable fuses. 2) Verify there are no loose wire connections to the front blower motor. 3) Verify you can hear/see/feel the flapper move when you change the front vent settings.
Why does my furnace keep blowing the pilot out?
From what we can tell, he changed some of the copper lines going into the furnace and he did remove the air filters. When we got home the furnace was running fine, but after a couple of cycles it started acting up. We relight the pilot with no problem, but as I said as soon as it starts running, it blows the pilot out.
Why is my air blower not blowing air?
However, in some models the tubes funnel air down to a nozzle that increases the speed of the air flow. In this case, it might seem as if the blower isn’t blowing air, or isn’t blowing enough air. This can be a result of missing or damaged tubes.
How to fix no air blowing through front vents?
No blower at front. Turn on car and A/C comes on for 1 – 2 seconds. Rear blower runs. Solution: Replace transistor or solder a new thermal cut off from Mouser Electronics. Part # 447-XYP2BN109-RC. This is the same part used to repair the rear blower which I already did back in 2010.

But since temperatures inside the heat exchanger should stay relatively stable when the furnace burners aren’t on, your blower fan shouldn’t be needed at all. So if your furnace blower is turning on and off when the furnace isn’t in a heat cycle, it usually means the fan limit switch is defective.
What causes a fuse to blow on a blower motor?
