Why does my EVAP purge make a sucking noise?

That could explain the sucking sound up front. If the purge valve opens to pull vapors out of the canister but theres no way for air to get in it could make a suction noise. With no codes stored I’m kinda hoping it’s just crap plugging up my vent hose.

Sure, it’s the jumping-off point that makes this thing tick, but it’s one hell of a leap of faith. In the context of this world, nothing really makes sense.

Best thing to purge quietly, for the record, is ice cream. Comes out easy and without a sound. One other thing to keep in mind is the smell. I purged at work one time.
