If you have the Kohler Cimarron 1.6 gal per flush toilet, this is NOT the correct replacement canister valve. This one only provides a 1.28 gal per flush maximum. I made the mistake of looking for the part number for the canister valve by using the diagram and part numbers listed on the underneath of the toilet lid.

Is the n2412 a replacement toilet or replacement Bowl?
Hello Mat, The N2412 is generally not a replacement tank, tough it is a similar design to the 3412, but the valve setup is configured to use 1.28 Gpf as opposed to the 3412 which flushes 1.6 Gpf. It would not be as efficient a flush if placed on a 1.6 Gpf rated bowl. I think all toilets are standard measurements for the bolt width.

This can be done by turning the screw on the fill valve to raise the float. Also, this tank is not a replacement tank. It is meant for use with its mating bowl, HD SKU# 1001484656, & flushes only 1.28 Gpf. If used on a different older bowl, the flush may not be as effective.
