Where is the programmer on a Honeywell T45?
It is to replace a Honeywell T45 (they seem to go under all sorts of names ST699 seems very common (?!)) programmer located next to the boiler, a thermostat located in the hallway, and an ageing 20 year old ideal classic boiler located in the utility room with the programmer. This programmer controls both the HW and CH.

Where are the com terminals on a Honeywell hive?
The terminals are marked the same on both the Hive and ST. Simply connect the old heating NO to the Hive heating NO and the same with the hot water NC and NO. There are no COM terminals on the Hive as those connections are already made inside the Hive. N to N and L to L.
