Where does water come from in a Vulcan freeloader?
I have a 25 year old Vulcan Freeloader. It is continuously (almost running) dripping water from condensation pipe at bottom side of unit. No sign of water in bottom of unit though. Any help appreciated. Note: Have opened & closed PRV on top of unit and water flows ok. No water observed dripping from this pipe.
What to do if your Vulcan freeloader stops working?
If your vulcan freeloader has stopped working don’t panic you might not need a new one yet. Sometimes the flame can be smudged or the magnetic flame driven thermocouple can be worn out. Under such circumstances the cylinder can be revived. Generally if the freeloader is too old any repair is simply not economic and we recommend replacement.
How much does a Vulcan freeloader relief valve cost?

We have a Vulcan Freeloader 300 Super 10, mains pressure gas hot water unit. It is 21 years old and has been trouble free except for the pilot light. Over this period pilot light went off about 5 times due to strong wind and after several attempts pilot would finally light up.
