Unscrewing the cap and replacing these parts is a simple repair. Get a tube of silicone o-ring lube (never use Vaseline/petroleum jelly, which looks the same) to make the seal last much longer. Worked perfectly. It would have been nice if instructions were included because one of the pieces was missing on my Febco.
