How to troubleshoot a flotec shallow well pump?
I would suggest reaching out to Flotec for troubleshooting at @ (800) 365-6832. Serves Me Well (Pardon The Pun)! I have this shallow well pump inside my pump house to move water from outside holding drums to my pressure tank. I bought this as replacement for the exact same one that froze and cracked. It was my fault for not draining it.
Is there a suction port on the fp4022?

Is the flotec water pump over 10 years old?
The water pump was delivered in a timely matter. However it was damaged. We called to report it and they requested photos. After they received them they promptly sent us a replacement.
