What was the problem with the Redring expressions 5005 shower?
Engineer reckons it was the on/off switch which had been affected by water getting in when the shower was on. There is a new cover which fits inside the unit and protects the button. I spoke to Redring Technical & they identified the problem as the Phased Shut down PCB. Part No for 8.5KW model is 93550835 – cost £27.60

Why is the shower button on my Redring expression 5005 not working?
On Saturday the shower button wont stay on. Have owned a Redring expression 5005 shower for a while with no problems, but recently it has started turning itself on at random times. It pulses on and off making the water pipes bang and if I turn it on while this is happening it works normally but when turned off pulses even faster.
