Why are the pipes on my kitchen tap not flexible?
The pipes have been soldered onto the side of isolation switch so they do not follow the pipes’ natural path. There does seem to be some kind of join in the vertical section of the pipes, (where they run up the bottom of the tap), but I think the join is soldered as there’s no obvious nut to link the two sections.
