What does 04 mean on a boiler?
When a Vokera boiler shows an A04 fault code on the display panel, it means that the system has insufficient water pressure. For a boiler to work, the system needs to have enough water pressure. If it has too much or too little it will lock out and display a fault code, in this case the A04.
What does ao1 mean on Vokera boiler?
ignition fault
A01 is an ignition fault on Vokera boilers. If you’ve lost pressure (likely a different cause), it’s likely you have a leak in your heating system. The leak could cause the A01 fault code by way of “dry fire”. I.e. the boiler recognises it’s not safe to ignite.
How do I increase the pressure in my central heating system?
Top tip!
- Switch off and allow your boiler to cool.
- Double-check that both ends of the filling loop are securely attached.
- Open both valves, to allow cold mains water into the system (you should hear it)
- Wait for the pressure gauge to read 1.5 bar.
- Close both valves, one after the other.
Why is my Vokera boiler gurgling?
If your heating system is tapping and/or gurgling, it may be caused by a build up of sludge made up of limescale and iron oxide (rust). Clearing the system of this sludge will require the system to be flushed with a system cleaner and a volume of water sufficient to wash away as much of the sludge as possible.
What’s the pressure on a vokera Linea 28?
Over the years, various Corgi engineers (some from a company recommended by Vokera) have been unable to eradicate the problem despite “recharging the expansion tank, cleaning the fan venturis, replacing the pump flow stuffing box, the selector knob and the dhw heat exchanger”. The pressure guage reads about 1.8 when cold and up to 2.4 when hot.
What do you need to know about a vokera boiler?
Vokera Combi Boilers (Compact, Linea, Unica, Vision) are designed to provide hot water to your taps and heated water to your radiators. Normally central heating is controlled by both thermosat and by a time clock.
Is the vokera Benchmark scheme licensed in the UK?

What does error code A03 mean on vokera boiler?
When there is an issue with the fan on your Vokera boiler you can expect to see error code A03 on most models. This is an issue which will require the help of a qualified engineer. They will want to open up your boiler and take a closer look to diagnose the problem. With Vokera fans, the most common cause of the problem is worn bearings.
How does the vokera Linea 24 and 28 work?
The Vokèra Linea 24 & 28 are combined central heating and domestic hot water appli- ances. By design they incorporate full se- quence electronic ignition, circulating pump, expansion vessel, safety valve, temperature gauge, pressure gauge and 3 port diverter valve.
Vokera Combi Boilers (Compact, Linea, Unica, Vision) are designed to provide hot water to your taps and heated water to your radiators. Normally central heating is controlled by both thermosat and by a time clock.
Why does my vokera Linea have low pressure?
We see these errors occurring most frequently in the Vokera Linea and Vokera Compact models. Low pressure is most commonly caused by a leak either in your boiler itself or elsewhere in your heating system. It is possible to top up the pressure on your Vokera pressure using the filling loop.
How to increase water pressure in vokera expansion vessel?
You could just drain some water out of system to take it to zero, before charging the air in vessel. You will find the water pressure will rise from zero. Drop water pressure a second time if you wish. Obviously top water pressure up once air is in vessel. Takes a lot of effort to pump air into vessel. I use an electric pump. Click to expand…
