Douglas DC-3 - Raisin Bomber - D-CXXX
Our limited DC 3 Series comes from the left wing DNA of the storied C-47B-30-DK - better known as the "candy bomber". During her deployment for the Berlin Airlift in 1948/49 she ensured the survival of many Berliners. She then traveled halfway around the world – from France to Indonesia – before she returned to Germany, where on October 30, 2008 at 11:55 p.m., she made the very last flight from the oldest airport in the world – Berlin-Tempelhof – together with the historic Ju52. and thus ended the era of the "mother of all airports".
