Are these cars generally easy to maintain or do they have a lot of problems?

I have just had a great experience with all my VWs! I have 2 jets, 99 and 03. I changed 99 and 03.

Now I have 07 GTI and 09 Jetta Sportswagon. The only problem I almost always hear is with pets.

No, I would not recommend VW to my family or friends. I postponed the 1999 Jetta and the 2004 Pet v6. They are much ■■■■■■ to fix than Nice or Toyota. They have all kinds of problems with the cable. I had a problem with 4 months of applause which cost about ً 700. I had to go to 2 different SPs and resellers to fix this problem. The only reason I bought them is because they drive better than the competition and feel safe. But if not, I will never buy a VW again.
My 1973 VW stuff is a perfect car! 36 years old and still great! Maintenance is easy and most are cheap.
I have had a VW bug since 2001 and had some issues mainly due to overheating (I live in Arizona) and these are very reliable parts that are hard to find and if you take them to SP If they go, they get overloaded all the time.
VW variable is reliable. Do your research to be careful when buying. Fixing them when needed is usually more expensive, which is very high on some models and rare on others.
