The tool does the job exactly as advertised. It extracted the cartridge straight out far enough to turn it back and forth and then pull it straight out with reasonable ease. It wouldn’t remove the cartridge. Ended up pulling on the cartridge with pliers to remove it. It may have worked okay on a cartridge that was not in tight.
