Is the Vulcan freeloader gas hot water system working?
My 20 year old Vulcan Freeloader 300 is working fine but periodically makes rumblings sound from inside. Is it over heating, any suggestions.? The water system is set to highest number of 7 and flame is on. However it is not heating up to boiling hot water , only water you can still put your hand under Heat setting 4-5 is more than hot for me.

Mine was leaking and it was replaced which fixed the issue . Cost was about $80 for the actual relief valve . You can take the old one to a plumbing supplier to get the exact same one . I have a 25 year old Vulcan Freeloader. It is continuously (almost running) dripping water from condensation pipe at bottom side of unit.
