Is the Rinnai Avenger 25 a good gas heater?
This is our first gas heater, we used a/c before buying the Avenger25 it was a bit more expensive than other brands but well worth it. Warms a large open plan area, very easily and quickly. Easy to operate as well.

Is the Rinnai Avenger still under warranty?
Write a review on ProductReview.com.au ! once turn on it s a continuous bad smell of gas . bought it in July 2019 so still under warranty . new house . we use it last year for few weeks and we thought it was because it was new . Purchased in July 2019 at Harvey Norman for $1,400.00.
What should I do if my Rinnai controller is not working?
If a controller is fitted check that it is on also) Check gas supply (Turn gas stove top on then turn hot water tap on. If flame drops on stove this shows it is possibly a gas supply issue) Is there enough water flowing? (Try opening tap further or turn another tap on as well) Are there any error codes displayed on controllers?

What’s the room temp on the Rinnai Avenger?
When I turn it on the room temperature displayed is always higher than the actual temperature by 6 or 7 degrees. This morning the unit was set for 22 degrees when the actual room temp was 15. The room temp moved to “H” in a short period. Is this normal? Thanks for the question.
Can a Avenger 25 be used as a portable heater?

I have an avenger 25 running on natural gas. I can’t say for sure but I think you can get it modified by a qualified gas fitter?
