Do you have hot water in Your House?
I have hot water everywhere in my house; except one bath\shower is having an issue if you run water low it stays hot. But if valve is turned high I get warm water. I have changed the shower faucet cartridge its having same issue as old one.
Where is the valve for the cold water faucet?
This valve is located under the sink; you’ll see two knobs near the pipes leading to the hot- and cold-water lines. Try turning the cold-water knob and seeing if the water starts up again. The cold-water knob should be on the right, if you have a one-handled faucet.
Why do I have hot water at one faucet but not another?
If you installed a new one at your new water heater it might be defective. If you kept an existing one it may be worn out or have minerals trapped in it – sometimes things like that never cause a problem until you turn the water off and it moves around. Also check under the sink to see if it has an anti scalding valve. It might need replacing too.

What does it mean if there is no cold water in the shower?
If only cold water is affected, that would indicate the blockage is not outside, as the hot water remains unaffected. If there’s no cold water in your shower but cold water comes out of every other faucet just fine, then the problem lies in the shower faucet cartridge.

Is it safe to mix hot and cold water in a water heater?
These mix cold and hot water together to reduce the temperature of the hot water to safe levels. Some places install them at each faucet, others install them at the water heater itself. Turning on one faucet would just give cold water no longer how long it ran.
