Do you need a new cap on a Kohler mixer?
If you have a leak you most likely really only need new washers. The redesigned cartridge is an improvement though and uses O-ring washers instead of the flat washers in the original. It’s unlikely that you need a new cap. Given the cost, however, it doesn’t really hurt to buy both and end it.
