How many rads does a Rayburn oven run?
…rest of forum holding its collective breath… our rayburn runs 9 rads hot water and cooking its the only form of heating we have most people that visit think its way too warm. 1st thing to check there is a small knob on the front between the fuel box and top oven this turns to heat or cook.
Is the Royal hot water tank on a Rayburn Supreme?
The Royal was only for domestic hot water but regardless of that the tank & rads should at least be getting luke warm. We had a Rayburn Supreme in the cottage next door that ran 6 rads & when it died we put in a royal & there was still some warmth in the rads & when they where switched off the tank still got hot.

I recently recieved a job to service a rayburn 480k cooker/boiler in my area. i have serviced many 480k’s, and am aware of the importance of using the correct sized stainless anti drip nozzles, and of the correct combustion settings. i’ve worked exclusively on oil fired appliances for 20yrs. this one has caused much head scratching.
