It will cool down after 30 to 45 minutes of consumption. I think the same Rotoson works a little better. Its purpose is simply to dilute the secretion of mucus from the lungs. Make sure you drink plenty of water and juice. I have been a nurse for 17 years. When I tried Mucinex, it didn't help much. Mucinex D could do a little better.
