How do you fix a spraying spigot?
Good news, it’s easy to fix!
- Wrap the rag around the faucet aerator.
- Grip with your pliers and turn clockwise to loosen.
- Clear any loose debris or buildup from the faucet and screen.
- Then place the O-ring and screen in a bowl of vinegar, and let sit.
- Rinse off your aerator, screen, and O-ring, then re-assemble!
Can a sprayer be attached to a faucet?
If a sprayer is not attached, there is no leak. When I attach a sprayer and keep it on (let the water flow), no leak. When I release the trigger on the garden hose (close it off) there is a slight delay then spraying at the spigot. I’ve tried different hoses and same deal. I haven’t bought another sprayer to try yet though.
