How do I reset my InSinkErator Pro 333?
How to Reset Garbage Disposal
- Make sure that the disposal switch is in the “OFF” position.
- Gently press the red button in to reset garbage disposal.
- Turn on a cold stream of water and turn the disposal switch to “ON” position, the disposal should now run again.
How long should you run an InSinkErator?
Run the disposal until food is gone (usually 30 seconds is enough). Turn it off and let the water run for another 10 or 15 seconds to flush out the drain.
Why is my garbage disposal not working?
If the disposal shows no activity at all, an electrical problem may be the reason. Press the garbage disposal reset button on the bottom of the unit, then try to switch on the unit. Check your main electrical panel to see if the circuit breaker to which the device is connected has tripped.
