What to use to remove black flaking from jetted tub?
Don’t use bleach. This is because, over time, it will breakdown gaskets, bushings, etc. Using any dishwashing detergent is also not recommended, since it will put a coating layer on the flaking you are trying to remove. Fill the jetted tub. It should be up with warm water and about 1″ about the highest jet.
