Do you need a new thermostat with Gummers?

If you require a new thermostat, which is not supplied with this cartridge, you will need to order it as a separate item under part number GROHE-00798000, which can be found in “Tools & Fittings” section to the right of this page.
What kind of cartridge does a Gummers use?
Gummers/Sirrus 1850 Cartridge (silicone included in the set). The large brass hex nut comes with the cartridge, it never used to, but the manufacturer supplies it with the cartridge now. In the instance that you may need to change one over, please refer to the video below.
