Can I use PEX for well drop pipe?
Yes, 1″ PEX can be used for the run from the well head to the house. The big limitation to PEX is you cannot expose it to UV light so it must be buried or enclosed somehow. PEX is more expensive than poly so most people just use black poly.

How do you remove a pipe from a well pump?
Shut off the power to the pump and drain the pressure tank. Disconnect the pipe from the pump. Use a screwdriver to loosen the hose clamp that holds the pipe to the pump’s intake and pull the pipe free of the pump. Use the rope to tie a running hitch around the end of the pipe. Secure the rope to a fixed object.
