Are there any wirsbo valve actuators that are breaking?
Wirsbo Valve Actuators are breaking !! We have a boiler with a radiant floor (and forced air) setup which includes a header with 7 Wirsbo Motorized Valve Actuators (A3020522) to control the zones. The zone supply temp is controlled with a 3 way mixer, running at about 120 deg.

Can a wirsbo pump actuator be mounted upside down?
MVA includes end switch for activation of relay (pump), heat plant or other auxiliary devices. Power-open, spring-closed, do not mount actuators upside down. Note: The MVA is not compatible with the Wirsbo Genius control system.

What to do if your blend door actuator is not working?
If the blend door isn’t moving freely, you have to remove the heater plenum and fix it before mounting the new actuator. To confirm that you’re replacing the right blend door actuator and to test door operation, turn the blower and work the blend door in both directions.
When do you know you have an actuator problem?
If the valve still doesn’t move, then the problem is most likely the valve. If the valve does operate in manual mode, then you may have an actuator problem. Actuators only have four major components that can break down and require repair.
Can a worn out drive nut cause an actuator to fail?
However, this is a very rare occurrence, and not the mostly likely cause of actuator issues. Much more likely is that the connection to the valve — the drive nut — has failed. A worn out actuator drive nut will not move the valve stem properly. You can see this by removing the center column cover and looking down the center to the valve stem.

Can a UFH actuator be opened or closed?
Ok you do have the up for open valves. Wirsbo make this product also if the original manufacturer is unavailable. Not open for further replies. UFH actuator has started to close way before the room temperature is reached!!!
