Halstead boilers are no longer available to purchase as the company was taken over by Glen Dimplex who no longer make boilers. Parts are still available while stocks last. Many models have been made, such as the Ace, Ace High, Best, Combi, Eden, Duo, Hero, Finest, Finest Gold & Quattro.
How often should I need to top up boiler pressure?
The pressure in the system will usually require topping up once or twice a year. If you are having to repressurise your heating system much more frequently, please contact your installer.
How do I top up boiler pressure?
Top tip!
- Switch off and allow your boiler to cool.
- Double-check that both ends of the filling loop are securely attached.
- Open both valves, to allow cold mains water into the system (you should hear it)
- Wait for the pressure gauge to read 1.5 bar.
- Close both valves, one after the other.
